Perak Corp and NCSM Broaden HPV Vaccination Programme

Perak Corporation Berhad (Perak Corp) and the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) had recently collaborated to organise the Free HPV Vaccination Programme – “Leaving No One Behind : Putting A Stop to Cervical Cancer in Malaysia,” aiming to address cancer risks and improve public health.

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme which was held at Hotel Casuarina@Meru is also open to Perak Corp Group subsidiaries, other State Agencies as well as the public. The programme is complementary to the Malaysian National Immunisation (NIP) Programme by the Ministry of Health and is aimed at women aged 9 to 45 and men aged 13 to 26.

The objective of this program is to empower individuals within the target group to prevent cervical cancer and enhance their overall quality of life.

This programme aligns with one of Perak Corp’s sustainability pillars, which is to uphold the welfare of the community and local society.

More than 100 people were vaccinated during the event.
