Potential Future Development of KPJ Healthcare

BANDAR MERU RAYA – Perak Corporation Berhad (PERAK CORP) through PCB Development has extended the opportunity for Kumpulan Perubatan Johor (KPJ) Healthcare to further expand their business in Bandar Meru Raya, Ipoh.

KPJ Healthcare which mainly involved in private hospital care business since 1981 is the largest healthcare service provider listed on the Bursa Malaysia and has been at the forefront of the healthcare industry. Currently, the group have already established themselves here in Ipoh with KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital; a 275 bedded private hospital located at Jalan Raja Dihilir.

PERAK CORP received delegation of Dato’ Mohd Redza Shah bin Abdul Wahid; Chairman Investment Committee, Ms Christina Foo; Chairman Audit Committee, Mr Mohamed Ridza bin Mohamed Abdullah; Board of Directors, Mr Mohd Sahir bin Rahmat; Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Ms Erniza binti Md Badursah; Senior Corporate Manager and Ms Azra Shazila binti Sulaiman; Senior Corporate Executive from KPJ Healthcare to discuss on the possibilities of the group’s expansion. The delegation was welcomed by Mr Zainal Iskandar bin Ismail; Chief Executive Officer of PERAK CORP Group and Mrs Sharifah Nor Hashimah binti Syed Kamaruddin; Chief Executive Officer of PCB Development.
